In this session, along with some favourite songs, we will be using finger play, and various sensory items and percussion instruments to help you bond with your infant and allow them to make new friends. We encourage the beginning stages of communication by demonstrating and mimicking body actions and facial expressions, and will introduce you to songs (that we don’t think will annoy you) with repetitive sounds to help your baby learn to speak, and understand the world around them. There are many forms of communication and we will help you to identify them in a fun and supportive environment.
Each class runs between 30 - 45 minutes, and is taught in our colourful and immersive environment.
All caregivers welcome! Moms, Dads, Aunties, Uncles, Grammas, Grampas, Nokomis, Gigi, or Mummo- no matter how you refer to yourself we welcome you to join in the fun! Need to sub in another family member so you can get some R&R for a week or two? Also no problem! This class is meant to be fun and relaxing; not full of pressure, so let us know how we can help you!
